Our tour is designed to introduce you to the key sites and important history of the city including Lady Buddha pogodo, Marble Mountains, Museum of Chom Sculpture Museum.
Tour Itinerary
Take a drive to Marble Mountain , a group of limestone and marble hills filled with caves and named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth. There are many pogodos, temples and even a special circular cave featuring a chimney leading to the summit with spectacular panoramic views. Then explore the mountain's main cave to see a beautiful 70ft Lady Buddha statue built in the Cham style.
After lunch at a scenic restaurant, continue exploring Danang with a visit to the Linh Ung Pogoda This serene compound features stunning views over the sea and the Cham Islands. The pogodo is dominated by a 70ft statue of Lady Buddha statue, the goddess of mercy. The locals believe Guanyin protects fishermen from danger so it is not uncommon to see devotees making offerings or saying prayers at the base of the statue.
The day comes to an end with a visit at the Cham Museum. Browse the remarkable collection of Cham sculptures and artifacts dating from the 7th to 15th century. We have a chance to visiting the Dragon bridge consiructed in the shape of a golden dragon before heading back to Hoi An.
